Nah, next Let's Go entry will be in between Sinnoh remakes and Gen IX. The way they used it this year to avoid having to spit out Gen VIII instead, combined with Masuda basically confirming it'd be its own thing if it did well enough (hint: it is), seems to indicate they'll use it as a buffer to avoid having to deliver Core games in short time periods.

Switch owners with good taste are happy with the boost from LGPE being much smaller than expected.
As a consumer, I'd rather have the Switch fail to reach the target sales by 2-3 millions, so that Nintendo has to up their game.

A mini model was obvious with Gen 8 coming next year (Gen 4 and 6, the debut for both also came alongside one) and they already have the normal one down to 225 just by removing the dock in Japan and that'll likely come at least to Canada next year and thus probably the US as well (surprise it hasn't already, realistically, since Canada is Japan 2.0 for handhelds).

at the moment (according to nintendo's data, not any analyst or anything), switch is selling 5% more than 2017 before pokemon and smash were released
