you act like its some harmless spinoff title but its not. its marketed as a main series game, and you know what that means? if it sells well then gamefreak is going to start making every game like it from this point forward because they'll finally have confirmation that they can keep crapping out stripped down garbage until they barely have to make a game at all

no one hates the actual fucking games, they hate what these games being successful is going to do to the fucking franchise from this point forward
