So I got my first shiny today and it was this piece of shit. I dunno if I wanna replace my Galvantula for this since its a pretty ugly mon and my team is aesthetic af

Even though I've played 100's of hours of Pokémon, I had never encountered a shiny until yesterday in LGE and it was a fucking tentacool, one of my least favourite mons. I wasn't chaining or anything so I'm still glad my first shiny was natural without increasing my chance of finding one

Shiny Lotad during a nuzlocke. Found a Ralts (4% encounter rate) the very next encounter. The nuzlocke didn't last very long.

It wasn't my first shiny, but your post reminded me that I used a dumbass Klinklang in Black/White because it was shiny. If you haven't used tynamo before i say go for it.

First was a shiny Volbeat I was breeding for the Dex in Black 2. I traded it up to alpha Sapphire and used it. My favorite Mon on my team. Ive gotten a shiny in every game I've played naturally including a tentacool on Ruby I was hype on. My 3ds and all my games were stolen this year so rip to my 100+ shiny boys

Eelektross isn't a beauty but it's quite cool, just remember to evolve Eelektrik after it has learned Coil (lv. 54 or 55, not sure) since it's a fantastic boost.

My first shiny was a Sentret in HGSS, not much useful. But that was before UWs.

i thought the stars were just its enter animation, I didn't even realize something was different until i caught a normal one in gold.

this was before i had reliable access to the net so i just marveled at what i called "off color pokemon" and started transferring any i caught to crystal with my little sisters gbc

Excluding red gyarados, my first shiny was poliwhirl in Crystal. Found it outside mt.Silver. At the time I thought ONLY gyarados could be shiny, so when I found that Poliwhirl I thought it was some rare error made by the game.
