OP's logic is that if you poison a water supply it goes bad probably. It's not like the water experiences any negative effects because of it, though, only the creatures that drink it. And you need a hell of a lot of poison, too.

commonly stated by morons that can't stop crying about water instead of making their own type good. Water is balanced, too. Electric is not so threatening but grass is a problem and a very viable counter to water. For the turds crying about muh ice beam and rain, here are some facts:
-water-types are slow
-water doesn't get stab on ice beam
-a given water-type will lose against a grass-type in a slugfest, especially if the grass is using giga drain which further increases the gap
-sun directly counteracts rain, and water-types don't use fire moves.

The fact that there are many slow water types it's due to the fact that the water type is the most widespread type.

Only two of those are even remotely viable (In OU. I say OU because it's popular.) and there are far more slow water types than fast. If you think a type having four fast Pokemon, especially a type belonging to many Pokemon like water, makes that type overall fast then you're fucking retarded.

I typed 4 because I didn't want to look for more, but here's the list for OU water Pokémon:

Bulky as hell, paired with Ground only one weakness

So, yes water type is not known for being fast but actually bulky, this should balance things out, right? Except that grass types are known for being slow too. With 5 weaknesses.

It's ok as an idea, water is a good defensive type and poison needs some more spotlight.
The problem is the fact you won't see poison types being used more, what will actually happen is that good pokémon that can run sludge bomb/poison jab will get a buff.
The meta itself won't really change.

In Gen 1, Bug and Poison were SE against each other. So you could do that.

My type chart fixes would instead be this

>fairy is weak to and resisted by ice for the same logic as steel (cold = dead)
