Don't forget the gen that introduces megas not only doesn't give megas to it's starters, they give them to the kanto starters, hell they gave charizard 2 megas, then they fucking give you the Kanto starters in like the second fucking city. If it was post game I could understand, but fucking christ they just wanted people to forget that kalos starters exist.

I don't even mind Gamefreak making shitty games a not caring anymore, they've proven that's all they know how to do since gen 6 with the slight exception of ORAS.
What REALLY pisses me off is that GF is too fucking stubborn to let other actually decent/good companies work with the property like Monolith or even Arc Systems to make a pokemon fighting spin off or something.
