Not really. There are some exclusive UBs, a few nice QoL improvements, and an alternate story that most people find worse than SM's because the added elements are just tacked on instead of being properly incorporated into the plot.

Not really. The only really interesting additions are the new UBs and Necrozma forms, but they'll obviously be available in some way in Gen 8 anyway.
