I'd take this bait a little more seriously if you'd used the sprite sheet from Yellow; seeing as those are the definitive Gen 1 sprites.

In honesty, I wish some of the fuck-up designs from Blue were acknowledged as different forms in later games, like Upside-Down Koffing, Beady-Eyed Pinsir, Sideways Cloyster, and Pincer Kakuna.

Gen 5: Crappy designs. Bashed by anyone with two brain cells and good taste. Worst performing main series game on the highest-selling handheld ever.

Gen 1: Universally loved. Still selling like hotcakes for the fifth(?) time now across handhelds/smartphones/prettymuchanything.
