Why can't people admit that, despite the game itself being inferior, gen 1 had vastly superior designs to today?

Gen 1 mons were designed as monsters with Gameboy limitations

New mons are designed as toys/to be marketable.
Gen 4 was trying to draw in people who thought Gen 3 was too kiddy.

Gen 1 had unmatched designs but I feel most gens after it are allot more inspired + were not designed with the gameboy’s limitations in mind
