>>37134711I feel you, man. Where to begin, am I right? Has gamefreak reached peak laziness? Have fans and "fans" reached peak apathy? Am I just getting old and out of touch? There comes a point when the honeymoon ends and the flaws you used to tolerate or never noticed are now all you can ever see. And it can be hard to process those emotions. That's the way I see it at least, and I don't really have an answer to give you. Sometimes you just need to take a break and walk away for a while; sometimes you need to just broaden your interests so you have other hobbies to dull the pain; and sometimes you just need to know when to set your ego aside and focus on what you enjoy instead of defending its honor or banking on something newer and shinier to replace it.
We're in a rut, sure, but we'll either bounce clear or we won't. Either way, I'll remain in control of my own interests and feelings.
