>>37132778I like EVs and Natures. They allow you to be more strategic with your sets and force you to be more mindful. Before EVs and Natures, you only needed to care about your moveset and item, unless you ran something slow on purpose or didn’t use a Physical attack.
With EVs, you have a limit of 127 stat increases across all stats, and each stat only having a Max increase of 63 with nuetral natures.
You could have 88 EVs in a stat to survive certain hits or outspeed certain Pokemon. Or you could dump more of those EVs into another stat to beat something else.
Same with natures, but I would like to have more control over natures.
But absolutely fuck IVs.
