The bible is an absolutely vile read and features passages on everything from slave discipline to stoning to death. The idea that we've been "infected" by Islam is ridiculous and it's no different to me than the incessant pushiness of overly sensitive Christians who can't handle a fucking starbucks cup.
All religions are wrong. We all get one go round and we shouldn't spend all our time in perpetual worship or trying to atone for perceived sins because the people who preceded us couldn't contemplate their own natures.
