Previous Pokemon games and remakes are great. This one isn't. They removed the wild Pokemon battles and replaced it with the annoying Pokemon GO catching system, they turned the likeable douchebag rival into a goody...and now this shit. Imagine how many other dialogues they changed to the worse.

The gambling one and the image you posted are really the only annoying ones.
What bothers me is how back in Gen 1 and I think 2 they actually called the enemy Pokemon "enemy", then changed it to "foe" before finally settling on "opposing".
