Too many Easter eggs like this (pic) in the anime. What do you want to see in a UK region?

I’ll think it could be the best region yet. Folklore is very dragon/fairy/giants. National animals include the unicorn. It’s landscape is breathtaking... I am ready.

Many of Britain's former colonies are powerful nations, they definitely ended up better off than the colonies of other nations.
India did get fucked but that was the fault of Islam and Socialism, not Britain. Had Bose or someone of similar caliber taken it after independence rather than Nehru and his ilk India would be a dominant power on par with the Asian Tigers and Japan at least

Never once did I complain about any regions, its just annoying to you see saying that every little thing should be based on japan purely because its a japanese series and for the myths who gives a shit? If they make pokemon based on those myths thats fine, but not every single pokemon needs to have some reference to mythology. Hell, not every pokemon needs to be a reference to anything at all. Id say it would be fine to do another japanese based region after gen 8 because then it would be half japan regions and half not japan regions. Also I cannot stress this enough and I know I sound like a broken record, but not every single pokemon needs to be based on something from japan. Kabuto is based on the horseshoe crab and some of that species live in the waters in the east coast of the USA which is right next door to the Bahamas. The only other area with horseshoe crabs are in Asian waters next to places like Arabia, India, Japan, China, Indochina, and Korea.

New Zealand would be easy mode. There's so much variety in the landscape from which they could take inspiration. There are heaps of volcanoes, plus the crater Lake Taupo. Mountains galore and the cold section to the south. Forests, beaches, glaciers, fields, natural hot springs. The two islands can split the gameplay as needed, and there are countless smaller islands for postga- oh who am I kidding.
There's not a whole lot of variety for animals as we only have birds but there's big variety there at least. Plus we could finally get a dolphin mon all those dolphinfags keep clicking about. A tuatara or a moa mon would be nice tbqh.
