Which would mean this isn't just some alternate dimension, it's a physical place that exists in the same space. The fact that if you travel far enough in the vast, endless nightmare that is space, you'll eventually reach alternate versions of your world and timeline that are impossibly fucked up beyond recognition makes me dizzy. Ultra Space is some real Lovecraftian bullshit.
