And yet he looks totally off model. Feraligatr looks badass in Gen II sprites but only his Silver Version look even comes close to being correct.
His 3D model is shit because they all are, but it isn't far from the one used in Stadium.

There isn't a single piece of artwork in the GSC roms. Only the sprites are a real part of the games. And Pokemon is a videogame franchise, not a few pieces of artwork on the internet.

Not by the time GSC came out. The only reason sprites were designed before Sugimori drew them in RBY was because their development was a shitshow.
