>>37151557That's what I'm saying. Gen 4 does nothing that couldn't be done with old school sprites. It's a pointless change that just makes the game look uglier and more awkward, both in the overworld and the battles (move animations look like shit compared to gen 2 and even the shitshow that was gen 3). Plus, it's a waste of catridge space and power that could've been used to fill the game with more content and five regions.
Why not keep the old graphics if they looked perfect and didn't make the game run like shit? Use the power of a new console to expand on other things, but leave the graphics alone. Or at least don't turn them into soulless crap.
