He's not wrong. That line in particular is extremely generic and tells you nothing about Barry.
It would be different if it said something like "arrgh, if you win I'm going to find you!" but that's clearly not the case.

Gen 6 and 7 battle system is gimped as fuck. A lot of cool feature were removed. But can you blame them, when it shits itself as soon as there more than 2 pokemon on screen.
