My mom learnt that she liked pokemon at 51 years old after she played HGSS for the first time. she always tought pokemon were stupid when i was a kid

My dad never played the main series games but he did play a bit of mystery dungeon and trozei. He was also quite invested in the card game for a while. His favourites are Entei and Linoone.

My parents don't play, but when I was doing a CNA program a mom bought her daughter and herself DSlites with pokemon diamond and pearl. They played together and it was really sweet. The mom had no idea what the fuck she was doing though

My mother's dead. But she liked watching me play Yellow and Gold in the GB Tower when I was little. She liked Pikachu. Nothing too incredible.

The only experience my grandma has with Pokemon is her occasionally getting me related gifts 'cause she knows I really like it.

As a result she doesn't know any Pokemon aside from Pikachu, but if I showed her some she'd probably like Rowlet.

Back when I played GO, my parents decided to start playing since they like to compete with each other. I stopped playing back in July, but they're still pretty dedicated players. Last I checked in with them they were getting close to Level 38.

Oh, forgot their favorites. My mom likes anything that smiles, usually pink ones like Jigglypuff or Hoppip, but her all-time favorite is Squirtle. Reminds her of the pet turtle she grew up with.

My dad on the other hand likes anything with a funny animation when you try to catch it, like Swinub going around in circles or Yanma zipping around in the air.

My old man used to play Stadium and Stadium 2 back in the day but that was it, he never got into Snap, let alone the mainline games. IDK what his favorite would be. Probably Jigglypuff or Mewtwo.

I know for a fact mom has never played a Pokemon game in her entire life, not even Go. But if you ask her favorite she'd say Raikou without missing a beat.

My mother did though. She fucking loved Pikachu and had a huge collection of cards and toys that came to me when she died since my brother hasn't bothered with the series past Gen 2.

Didn't play the games even though she'd always been big into games however. She once played Red back shortly after I got it in late '98 but she all she did was wander around the Safari Zone for a while before catching a random male Nidoran and stopping. She was more into the classics and platformers.
