For all we know, humans in the pokemon universe don't poop.
It's only canon if a toilet appeared in either the games or the anime for at least a second. Just the public restroom door in the background should be enough to consider ASSES canon.
That would kind of ruin May's cool factor, though. She's so badass, and yet she has an anus. How disappointing.
