>>37151971I always wondered what Gen 1 Kanto would look like if the developers had had access to better, more advanced graphics. Like, what the hell is this supposed to be? A random fence maze in a prairie? A boardwalk in a remote area that doesn't connect any large cities? It makes no sense from an industrial-economic perspective. How are goods transported in a region with no vehicle-friendly roads that aren't blocked by mazes? Also, what the hell ARE those round things in the bottom left and upper right meant to be? It would make more sense if they were trees but they always looked more like boulders to me.
Kanto is such an odd, desolate place, but it's completely charming for it.
