So what was up with all the random alchemy visual references in Sun and Moon?
Just seems wierd since story and region didn't have much to do with alchemy.

Since when did Alola ever make sense? It has a Cowboy Town, Japan Town, China Town, and Mount Everest in a region based on Hawaii, and the story is tropics getting invaded by aliens. Of course none of it makes sense.
