Which region had the best "final route"? (last route before the victory road)

Picture related is my choice, while Hoenn and Sinnoh have the worst because they are fucking water routes

In all fairness, Hoenn didn't go for an epic final route, it just had an island where it felt climactic. Then Sinnoh just copied it and forgot to make it interesting. Unova wins easily, though I have a soft spot for the lead up to Indigo Plateau in both Kanto and Johto.

Kalos barely has a final route while Alola instead has you backtrack to Mount Lanakila now that it's open, so it doesn't really work the same way. These aren't criticisms, just different design choices.

I recently revisited it, and while it's by far the best route/cave/dungeon in the game, I'm pretty sure it's just because all the other ones are so unbelievably dogshit that getting one cave that isn't a final fantasy hallway felt pretty nice
