Comedy is not that easy where all an animator has to do is only put memefaces everywhere. Comedy requires better scripting, comic timing, good punchline, gag, one liner, risky theme, creative story telling, less restriction and well written character. Slapsticks and comedy that's all SM has to offer and if it gets serious then it's just a few minutes and then it's over. In most episodes, over half of an episode is comedy when it comes to action and it would be better to focus more on the plot than comedy (SM episode 21 is a good example). If you're doing a serious episode, then half of the episode should NOT be a slapstick and comedy. This is not even funny but boring.
