>>37171499Yokai can talk and do their own things, I'd say they're a lot less like Pokemon since they're very animalistic, there are also some humanoid Yo-kai which makes sense since Yo-Kai are just spirits and other bizarre creatures of Japanese Folklore, In the anime they range from monster of the week to having their own side-arc, Komasan getting a crush or becoming a CEO for example. They can also influence people to act or do certain things, like there is a Yo-Kai that makes people act like delinquents for example.
