Anyone got any more pictures like this? It’s pretty cool to think about what modern warfare would be like with people having borderline godlike magical creatures at their disposal.

I know I saw one with an Arcanine with a combat vest like military police dogs and I can swear I remember one with a Chesnaught bodying a tank.

Call me a pansy, but I kinda like to imagine my Pokemon world as peaceful and chill. The current real world is providing plenty of turmoil and strife to last a couple lifetimes, and Pokemon's supposed to be an escape. I searched for some Pokewar shit though, and there don't appear to be much—just retarded stuff like pic related.

I had this idea for a team, either Team Majestic or Team Citadel, who look like professional mercenaries (flak jackets, steel helmets, utility belts and pouches) and use dogmons or Fighting-types, and they claim they want to establish order and security but they’re basically just well-organized and disciplined thugs.

My headcanon is that human civilization in the Pokemon world developed much more peacefully than it did in our own. If people can command fire breathing dragons, leviathans that cause earthquakes and tsunamis, and psychic creatures that can kill with a thought, any all out warfare is guaranteed to end in utter ruin for both sides. It's the principle of Mutually Assured Destruction, but from the very beginning. People had to develop other ways to settle conflicts. Hence, Pokemon battles. Even criminals respect them. Sure, that rocket grunt could just pull a gun on you, but he'd be breaking the very rules that protect him, and your Pokemon would melt his face off.

I remember seeing this picture before, and tracking down the rest of the pictures from the series. Apparently, the medic guy is supposed to be Watson from Sherlock. I guess the artist was imagining some sort of crossover.

I'm currently running a quest on the qst, and my dumb solution to this was to make almost every Pokémon bulletproof and more dangerous than guns, so you need a license to carry Pokéballs.

And made gun laws in the region super lax. But most people prefer to just carry around a superpowered pet.

And regarding international conflict, It's resolved with what >>37176975
said.

Still, there's people that don't give a shit and will still use Pokémon for warfare. Cause that's humans for you!
