Anyone having trouble getting all Mystery Gifts from BW2??

With the recent exploit of the Mystery Gifts for the DS games, I've been downloading every Event Mystery Gifts I can.
But it seems for my Black 2 copy, I keep getting the same 12 events (all Pokémon)
Does anyone know if this exploit is only locked to these 12 specific Pokémon? Or am I just getting unlucky?

You can use a German version of the game with the appropriate noSSL ar code patches, check https://github.com/mm201/pkmn-classic-framework/issues/11

I suspect there's a way to get German carts to work patchless, but I don't have one to test with.

Another thing to do is don't modify a wifi connection you already set up previously or you could get 60000 errors. Erase it entirely, reconnect to it again fresh, and then enter the new DNS. That IP address is the RiiConnect24 one, I think, which is the good one to use right at this moment.

Ok, so I can't test any of this but take it with a grain of salt. For a german copy of the game you probably need one of the patched methods of connecting.

Create a new wifi connection on an unencrypted or wep-encrypted network, change the DNS settings to AltWFC: 104.131.93.87 or Wiimmfi: 46.4.79.141, use 8.8.8.8 as your secondary DNS.

Then using an DS action replay of some sort for your german, input the code that corresponds to your game from that link I shared: https://github.com/mm201/pkmn-classic-framework/issues/11

They don't have all the german codes, just for diamond or heartgold, so you might be out of luck. but that code will disable SSL checks so you can get on the network.

I'm pretty sure German carts will now work with the unpatched method where you use RiiConnect24: 164.132.44.106 and don't worry about any AR codes, but again, I don't have it available to test.

I think it just redirects to the same system settings for your DS but I can't be certain, I never touch those settings. I just tweak them in the system options menu so they can apply to all my genIV and genV games

depends on the game. GenIV games can hold up to three wonder cards, after which you have to go ingame and collect the prizes from the mystery man (and reset for nature as necessary). Once you get the prizes, delete the wonder cards and try again. the game will refuse to re-download wonder cards you already deleted, so no worries there.

The only difference in GenV is that they can save up to 12 wonder cards at once. Otherwise it works the same way.

I never owned another psychical ds Pokémon game after Diamond so I'm playing on dsimenu++ and it works
Only problem is it crashes every time it resets to the title menu so you have to completely restart every time

As someone who refuses to trade outright due to being autistically paranoid over getting hacked pokemon, I believe anything that can be achieved through in-game means, or rather, without the use of a third party device, is legit.
Void glitching and this are fine in my book, as it's being accomplished through a legit copy of the game on a legit 3ds.

Why do this? If you have a flashcart just download the event distribution roms and send them to your game in the most legit way possible, better yet actually buy the carts (I used to have a Summer 2013 Sinnoh Legendary trio one for BW/BW2, sold it but it was cool)

This DNS does other things besides enabling wifi gifts. Friend Code trading and battling works across both generations. GTS works too, with come caveats (though 100% functional in GenIV)

There is a 3rd party device, it's the server (spoiler, it's non-Nintendo or GF) being used to distribute these.

I'm all for using the server to just have the online communication again, but any Pokemon given out via the Mystery gift are illegimate.
