Hey Pokébros, i have a question for you regarding Agumon in smash.
Do you guys think the 90s rivalry with Pokémon helps his chances to enter smash?
Would it be too hype or not?

I don't think Agumon will ever be in Smash - not because I don't want him to, but simply because he didn't originate as a video game character.
Other Digimon - maybe? Megaten started as a trilogy of novels that received a video game adaptation, but Persona's always been a video game series and Ren's in.

He originated as a video game character.
Agumon was the mascot for the first ever Tamagotchi launched in 1997, together with Tyranomon.

And he is the mascot for the Digimon franchise.

Virtual pets aren't exactly the same thing as a video game, dude. Being a mascot doesn't guarantee that they'll be used as a representative for a franchise/series/etc that gets into Smash either - again, the thing with Ren in regards to Megaten, whose mascot is Jack Frost.
