I like to get 6 random mons and hack them into the game at the beginning. Get to use a lot of mons I would have never used otherwise.

The early game gives you few resources for a very reason, trying to not make an already easy game even easier. How fucking bad are you at pokémon you need more healing items than you can afford.
I completely understand hacking everything in once you're done and want to play online competitively though.

Nothing wrong with this though. They put too many really cool mons way too late game to actually use.
