is Let's Go the first game without ANY new contributions to series lore, even including canon spinoffs like ranger and colleseum?

Or if it does have new lore, what is it so I don't have to play it?

They messed up the lore by making Red/Blue's adventure take place prior to Let's Go however they were just great trainers instead of the hero of Kanto (that's you!)

Johto takes place 3 years after Let's Go but it would make Red/Blue a year or two older.

Mina from SM also shows up as a younger trainer but still not near young enough for Red/Blue's appearance in SM to make sense.

Actually LGPE isn't really canon, since it's the story about (You) entering in RGBY game. There are multiple references pointing at it, not just the first cutscene, but even a dude who says that he know this is a game and you're in it such as him (you can find him entering in GF's building from the back). Or how Trace reacts everytime you defeat him or do something like beating Giovanni.

Emerald's Faraway Island and FRLG added lore implying Fuji was involved. FRLG also had the picture somewhere in the game showing he knew Fuji.

Hasn't that kind of thing been around since the first games? I'm pretty sure the GF building in gen 1 had a guy who broke the fourth wall and said "I'm the artist, I drew you!" or something like that

The only things I can think of are that Pokemon height can vary by up to 40% from the average, Mina visited Kanto when she was younger, and the legendary birds aren't unique, because more of them start appearing in the overworld after you catch them for the first time.
But I don't know if any of that can really be considered canon. LGPE seems to be in its own continuity, considering you basically replace Red, and both Red and Blue don't do any of the things they did in the first games.

Yes, but there never was a guy who actually say "hey dude i know everything, for that i know that we are in a game", and he has a separated room the rest of the staff and can be only found if you go in the building from the back. I don't think they put something redundant just for another funny easter egg, because this dude doesn't seem to be linked to gf itself, since he says nothing about his role.
