>>37195487I what I found interesting is at some point they had a complete set of full resolution back sprites in blue's style that no one ever got to see, instead sticking to red/greens doubled up versions.
Most of them match up perfectly in a truly unfakeable way, however at this point in development they were already replacing them out for a newer style some of which we would ultimately end up getting in final Gen 2.
I wonder if a full Gen 1 blue set would ever leak.
