N2DS XL and OG 3DS have the best dpads of the bunch, N2DS XL has the best form factor, N3DS has a good form factor and a screen that's appropriately sized for the resolution of the games. I upgraded from 3DS to N3DS XL and regretted it, only thing XL has are the extra Virtual Console titles and like two N-exclusive games.
