psyduck and golduck should have been water/psychic, but they were introduced in the same gen as starmie and slowpoke/slowbro so maybe gamefreak thought it would be overdoing it (then again there's fucking how many grass/poisons in g1??)

maybe g8 will have water/psychic regional variants of them, and/or mega-golduck

psychic type Swarm would be interesting, we have those 'boost power when at low hp' abilities for fire water grass and bug but more of them would be neat, and they're easy as hell to set up thanks to basically everything learning substitute...
