Cries are outdated and not to mention they've been getting worse instead of improved.

Therefore, Anime voices should be applied to all Pokemon in main games.

The anon you're referring took a wrong source for arguing, since the source talks about the game in general and not the pokémon cries. There is an interview specifically about pokémon cries: https://www.gamnesia.com/news/game-freak-explains-why-pokemon-dont-say-their-names-in-the-games

Some things are more important than other things. I hardly care about the cries being in smash. I'd like them better, but it's not going to happen because the anime is what the average person buying this game knows. I can live with this. (If they replaced cries in the main games I'd be pissed.) Meanwhile if the animations were garbage everyone would rightfully complain.

Here's a hint, if your complaint amounts to "but canon clearly states" then you're probably dealing with a difference of artistic direction rather than actual artistic "quality". eg. "but sonic's arm colour is wrong!"

I personally prefer the cries because they're more monster/animal-like. Some people prefer the anime-style because they think it's cuter. For a fucking item in much a larger game where you're not probably not paying attention to their sounds anyway, it's a non-issue.

Not so much, but it decreases the quality, because it's so unfitting with the pokémon. It's not about being cute or "creature-like" this time, but fitting with the pokémon. Arceus will never have that voice, it neither had in the anime nor in the games, same witj kyurem, which is too human-like instead of deagon/monster. If some dub is clearly lowquality and unfitting, you can care it or not, it's still something bad which doesn't work in the game, and it's right talking about it, nothing "autistic" here, it's even stupid stating that something is autistic just to denigrate someone else opinion or critic. Of course will not make the game shit, and if is important or not it depends by the person.
