Make sure internet connection and a online pass are valid on your switch. Click Y during in game and press communications. Next click trade faraway and choose the unique code that you or your trading partner want. From there trade as needed.

Press Y ingame and select communications. From there either select single or duel battles and then find a partner via code.

No but you can trade your Gen 1 and Alohan formats from Pokemon Go to LGPE and then trade those
