LGPE is made by a small studio of passionate '80s shounen manga and video game fans who are new to programming. They're ambitious trailblazers with big dreams and a desire to brighten the lives of children worldwide.
Smash is a degenerate, misogynistic game meant to pander to fat incel neckbeards and mohammads with its blatant sexualism and paternalistic agenda. All the women are plastic barbie dolls constantly in compromising poses, menaced by hentai tropes like slime (splatoon), orc-pigs (ganondork), and african americans (donkey kong).
Smash also isn't diverse. Hundreds of characters but all the men are young, white and privleged. A character like KKK rule would be crippled by diabetes and wouldn't be able to walk because his leg would develop ulcers and need to be chopped off. children like ness and the ice climbers are portrayed as orphaned without parental guidance. violent murder simulators like Duck hunt are honored and glorified by the game.
Smash is cancer, LGPE is much better for kids.
