So I was just battling and stuff with my Dragonite, who is my absolute favourite Pokémon. Anyway, so I was there battling noobs in-game when all of the sudden, I'm battling this Mr. Mime. This is usually not a problem, because my Dragonite can take care of this no problem with its Outrage, Dragon Tail or Dragon Pulse. But for some fucking reason, Gamefreak made this ugly clown a Fairy type, so I couldn't hit it with any of my moves. Like wtf, how was I supposed to know this thing was a fairy type?! All I could do was use Agility until it knocked me out, and now my perfect win streak is ruined! Thanks a lot Masuda!

So are these games actually fun? I play Go a lot and would like to get them, but $60 seems like a lot of money for a game that apparently has less content than FRLG and it’s too late for me to ask for them for Christmas or something like that.

I already got PLGP when it came out but I’m definitely asking my mom for PLGE this Christmas. I’ve really enjoyed the game more than most Pokémon games.

The only benefit for playing go is an easy way to fill your dex and the ball is really good for Pokemon go. Once you fill your dex there's no reason to transfer stuff except for meltan.

The speed IVs are random so you'll be wasting any good IV pokemon, shinies and IVs are really easy to obtain so you're better off keeping them in GO. I don't even think there's any good event moves either.

As a Pokemon go "compatible game" it really feels bad, there's nothing outside you would want to transfer from go to let's go

Event moves don’t transfer. There’s only three reasons to transfer; chain rare Pokémon to 11 (charmander) so their spawn rate increases in their natural route, transfer shinies you have multiples of, and melmetal, the most centralizing Pokémon in this metagame.
