Hey /vp/, I'm playing through Pokemon Blue for my first time.

I've played Emerald a few times before and started other games (Crystal, Diamond, FireRed) but would usually lose interest after awhile. Blue seems really fun, and I'm really enjoying myself with the game; it just seems alot more charming than the games that came after it.

Anyway, can someone point me to a good guide for my first playthrough? I don't need something to hold my hand but more of a tip guide, like telling me who to talk to for key items, how to make the strongest pokes (I know the mechanics are different in this one), etc. I know I already missed the Mew glitch and picking up flash, which is really annoying, so a good pointers guide would be appreciated.

Also, what's the most efficient way to get a complete 151 dex? Should I splurge and buy Red or track down someone else to trade with? I do have Crystal, so I think I only need a Mankey...
