I was completely convinced by the Lapras Leak the moment I saw the graphics.
It just clicked and I thought to myself, "Yeah, these look like typical GameFreak Graphics, even on a platform like Switch."
Lo and behold, I was right while most others were baffled that it could be possible.
And they'll be baffled all over again when Gen 8 is just Upscaled Gen 7.

Ahem. I believe you all have forgotten the times we've been fooled by fake leaks.

Literally anyone can claim they're John Gamefreak and post fake leaks. It's always wise to discard all leaks as fake. That way, when Game Freak reveals Gen 8's starters, you'll actually be surprised.

And it also means you won't get attached to something that might turn out to be a well-crafted fakemon. See: Pic related.
