It's not fucking fair Venubros, Venusaur is the best starter in competitive, the most viable for ingame runs and they even made him Red's ace, but he is STILL THE LEAST POPULAR STARTER. It is because of Venusaur's lack of popularity that pushes it over the top in the Kanto starter category. Most people in this world have bad taste. You don't want most people liking Venusaur, it is for Patricians and hot girls to like only really. And that's the beauty of it.

Bulbasaur is infamous for being the underdog who made charizardfags and blastoisefags be jealous for 20 years because neither of these starters were ever as good as Venusaur and they know it.
