I feel like a recurring thing for Grass Starters are their lack of coverage. That's why the ones that are arguably better work with bulky sets (Venusaur, Chesnaught, Torterra), or some other methods that are not regularly acquired during the normal playthrough (Sceptile, Serperior).
Decidueye has some nice offensive typing and moves, but his spread is literally shit.
The only outlier here is Meganium, which is unapologetically shit.
