You guys genuinely believe that the LGEP audience is a bunch of retards who didn't play any of the older games. Many of us did. The only game pair I've outright skipped is USUM and that's because I was bored with SM. I got LG after watching other people have fun with it and I tried it. The method of getting high IV mons is more fun than bike sim. And it comes with shinies. The limited movesets and team options is down. (They really put Alolan Marowak and gave it no phys ghost moves.) But the game is solid. Getting rid of HMs was wise and they did that in SM. Removing random encounters was also good. And if I am being honest I prefer not to battle hordes of wild pokemon. I always used repel for that reason. Also candies > EVs
