Gen 1 or 2 starters right off the bat so I can still play the game if I don't like any of the new starters. I liked that in gen 6, and missed it for a while in 7.

Seriously, I would still be playing USUM trying to complete the pokedex, but they wouldn't even give me a way to keep track of which pokemon I have caught/seen/yet to see.
They already recycled a lot of dex entries from past games in gen VI
I wouldn't know what to reward the player in-game though, since the shiny charm for potentially over 900 pokemon feels underwhelming

I still think that cycle needs more weight to it. I don't have a problem with venufrog but at that size i just think it should either jump with more weight or waddle.

A stand alone pokemon ranch that is compatable with all gens. It should have fun minigames for iv training and a battle tower with difficulty options. There should be a poke park for online compatibility that brings back world wide battles and trades. There should be regional contests and events, where you can visit locales of each region. You should be able to farm berries and apricots on small plots of land on your ranch, with a market you can visit to buy clothing items and such. Also a stadium mode single and multiplayer.

This is all i want, god damnit. It wouod be amazing, a bit of animal crossing a dash of harvest moon and all pokemon
