How come there is running and walking animations for all of the Pokémon ? They look so darn cool. Will there be another Let’s go game with them in it? I sure hope

probably intended to have follower pokemon in the 3DS games but programming is hard and they couldn't figure out how to do this without dipping down to silky smooth 10fps. prease undastandu.

Either they keep reusing the same 3D models and implement these or we get new(hopefully better) models. It's a win/win honestly.

it's called 'Future proofing' so that if they need those animations for anything whether it be the return of following pokemon or a cutscene, they have them, it also means they do bring following pokemon back in future games, they only have to make them for the new pokemon and not for every single one.

They didn't take into account that the wiiu would be killed so early and they'd be off the 3ds this quickly. Even then games like Pokken went back and retouched the models or redid them completely making all that work moot. Now the switch is here with even more graphical and technical capabilities.

They need to do things on a game to game basis. A lot of good futureproofing did for them. LGPE is a disgrace for being a 2018 triple A title mainline title.

I mean, it would have been easy if they made it an N3DS-only feature, maybe even use the extended memory mode on that if they needed to, but it's too hard to do work. :(

Just let me have this one thing, please... I don't care how much of LGPE's mechanics they keep or change back just let us keep Following Pokemon...
