I honestly never liked the blastoise line. The evos were too all over the place, why did they make Wartortle have weird ears and tail only to take it away for a tortoise with Metal cannons on it's shoulders?

Ken Sugimori sucks so bad he had to ruin Nishida's designs, just like how how he did Venusaur from Ivysaur.

Not anymore, Blastoise didn't age very well.
Most people don't care about those cannons anymore, and more people appreciate the more interesting Wartortle design now.

If hydro cannon got boosted and got the gen 1 hyper beam reset mechanic added as a bonus would make him into a tank that could actually 1hko something. Even shell smash would benefit him. Both would probably send him straight to Ubers though.

Venosaurfags can't understand that because something is strong doesn't make it cool.
Blastoise is cooler than Venosaur and stronger than Charizard so there's no reason to drag him into it.
