It was a fun series of different challenges that actually had a lot of difficulty. They all followed Battle Tower rules of locking levels and had actual good opponents. Reaching Frontier bosses required a lot of time and effort that made winning satisfying. The fact that there were 7 unique facilities with different game modes gave the whole thing variety and fun. Having this brought into ORAS with Gen 6 mechanics would have been a godsend to turn the games into a fantastic timesink.

Pretty much.

I don't think it was reasonable to expect the BF to be in ORAS, and I think the games are fine without it, but it would have been a great addition that would have easily cemented their place as the objective best remakes.

Yeah, I always hear people rave about it, and never knew what it actually entailed. Sounds like it would be pretty easy to implement into any endgame though.

Better. Copying and pasting that gen's battle facilitiy is par for the course for remakes, ORAS is the only one that suffered though since Emerald's offering was better than what XY had.

Same! I remember really liking the dome, arena, and factory. Pyramid and pike were cool too, but tower was boring and even 5 year old me thought that the palace was bullshit.
