you can choose how it looks, its typing and even distribute its 600 BST in anyway you like

Its ability however is useless and exists solely to justify how its customizable like how multitype only exists to justify Arceus's type changes

that's fine,
they could work from templates to keep the designs not too crazy
pick a form such a bird, beetle, snake etc
then you pick the typing
then pick what features it would have
you might have to have presets for stat distribution because people would abuse min-max

the moves it learns would be based on the typing and form.

if the design options were diverse enough, it would be interesting to see all the designs people would make. it sounds like a gimmick that would remain exciting for much longer than megas or z moves

and how would showdown implement this? it would probably be UU, but damn separately coding over 189 variants of one mon based on type is really shitty.

I'd have it customized by dex search parameters and a few others:
-one general shape for each body type
-select either 2 types or 1 type
-pick a color
-both pre-evo and mid-stage (since it's pseudo) would be the same. Can't customize them. Kinda like TypeNull and Silvally.
-maybe like three to six preset legs, fins, heads, tails, etc. would be available based on body type

That's only like a thousand or so possible mons. Still, I'd expect Game Freak to really not want to expend the effort for one pseudo line.
