>>37244330The vast majority of Bug-types are law-abiding citizens, almost to a fault. They rarely deviate from just doing what they're told. However, should they be given instructions to break the law, many of the simpler ones will obey without question. The problem is that it's a rare Bug-type that can actually be said to have the agency to be labeled a true criminal... and the ones that do act like Psychic-types in this regard, freely abusing chemical and telekinetic abilities to get their way. Still, since many were labeled vermin in the past and eradicated en masse, society tends to give them the benefit of the doubt more often than not.
That said, there are certain extremist factions who believe that every Bug-type is actually part of a massive global hive-mind, manipulating economics and politics and even weather conditions to their advantage while maintaining an innocent facade. Since it's impossible to simply wipe them out, an increasing number of these extremists have turned to blind Bug worship.
