What are /vp/'s thoughts on people who steal other people's pokemon by not trading them back? I think it's pretty awesome and funny. Any videos or stories where this happens?

I remember meeting an older kid at my great grandfather's funeral service that wanted to trade my Graveler/Golem, Kadabra/Alakazam, Moltres. He said he needed them to complete his dex and then he can get Mew and he'd give me the Mew tomorrow. Obviously he gave me shitmons. Obviously he didn't come back to the service the next day. It was my first link cable trade so I was more in awe of just experiencing trading so I don't look back at it too negatively.

I convinced my friend to trade me his copy of pokemon blue for a gift bag of candy at my like 7th birthday party. He tried for years to get it back once he realize he was scammed but I was an asshole and refused to give it back

I still have it and we're still best friends

Honestly, I like seeing exactly where the TM is and sometimes how to get there. Lists are very generic.

Thankfully through all my years of playing Pokemon, I've never had it happen to me. After getting PKHeX, I never traded again aside from putting hundreds of perfect IV Shinies on Wonder Trade. All with cute nicknames, of course.
