The anime stopped being good after Battle Frontier, started being good again in Kalos, but was pretty meh after that. Maybe if it had actual fucking plot progression people might be more inclined to watch it.

That's the point of the article. Episodes are relatively cheap to produce and merchandise makes up for the abysmal ratings. Merchandise keeps the anime afloat and the anime advertises the merch.

I've found entertaining episodes plucked out of every season. There isn't a single season worth watching in full and anybody who thinks otherwise should really give other shows a chance.

The only way you can watch the ashnime is as an episodic series of adventures. Otherwise you're just going to pull your hair out watching Ash lose time and time again.

The hell are you talking about? DP is the best series, period. DP has some of the most consistent and compelling storylines, character development for both humans and Pokemon, rivalries, lore for the region and its Pokemon, and battles. The best battles in the series came from DP. XY is overrated as fuck.

Why the hell do people underestimate how amazing DP was?
