>>37247776I don't think we're getting a Direct at the beginning of the year or in February like we had for the last 2 generations. I believe Masuda and other Game Freak executives didn't like how XY and SM were revealed too early, and they went months without revealing anything. I think this Direct will happen in May because that's typically the time when Game Freak officially announces games. It gives a six-month window between announcement and release. With that said, whatever new Pokemon or forms that will appear in M22 will most likely be leaked in advance (sometime in February-April like the last few times). I think May is the month, but I won't be disappointed if it is announced in January or February.
